If I get a $ for every time I get asked about certifications I would be RICH. It might be an entry point to understand Agile, but still only covers the theory. I recommend you watch this video on how to learn Agile. 3 things we need to clarify:
- Certifications can get confusing with the plethora of options.
- Companies ask for certifications while they still do not understand what the certification entails.
- No matter how good is a basic certification, it can only prove knowledge. Advanced certifications that include a panel and peer evaluation is a different case.
